READ #SEW14 Devotional Day 20: “An Everlasting Kingdom” – Daniel 7

image

The last days are here and the world system is making it tough to be a true Christian. Several schools of thought abound which twist the word of God and preach their own version of the Bible. For example the “third way” doctrine which preaches that homosexuals be accepted in church and given leadership positions, a doctrine clearly against God’s Word (Rom. 1:18-32).

As Christians our responsibility is to be steadfast on God’s word and not be moved by doctrines that are contrary to the word. Sometimes it may seem that immorality is spreading and winning via social media but we know the victory is ours through Jesus Christ (Jude 24).

Daniel is privileged to foresee some of the activities that will happen after the rapture of the church which event is further explained in the book of Revelations. It is important to stay plugged to the Holy Spirit so that we are ready when the trumpet sounds. It is those Christians who have remained rooted in Christ until the end who shall reign with Christ forever (Rev. 20:4).

Prayer Focus
Thank You Lord for causing us to be aware of the devices of the evil one. We receive grace to remain steadfast and rooted in You until Christ returns, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
