We always gather to study the Scriptures. What does it mean to study?

S- search the scriptures
T- Tear down strongholds
U – Uphold the standard – for your life, family, character, given to you by the Creator
D – Discover the supernatural (After studying the scriptures you can’t be the same weak, backward looking, timid Christian. You discover the supernatural strength in God.)
Y – Yield to the Savior (As you yield to the Lord, He remolds your life and refashions your life in Jesus name. After the study, God will carve out a new vision for you. You’ll stand out in life in Jesus name.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ (Rev 1:1-3)

In the book of Revelation, the glory, majesty, power, dominion, and victory of Jesus Christ is revealed.
Your future, the destiny of every man is also revealed. And you are blessed just by reading the book of Revelation (Rev 1:3).

The teaching is divided into three parts:
1. The comprehension of the Revelation
2. The commendation of the Revelation
3. The communication of the Revelation

1. The comprehension of the Revelation.

It is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Rev 1:1,10.

When you see God’s glory, everything shameful departs from your life.

Rev 3:7

Receive the energy to seize every opportunity you see in Jesus name.

Rev 5: Jesus can open the seals of your life and destiny in Jesus name.

Jesus will destroy every work of the devil in your life in Jesus name.

Rev 5:10 God will make us kings and priests in Jesus name.

Rev 7:17 – Jesus is in the midst of the throne. His time of glory has now come.

Rev 10:1

John saw something. I must see something.

Christ comes into your life in power, and everything not of God in your life goes out.

Rev 11:15,

Rev 16:15 Jesus will come suddenly when everyone is asleep spiritually.

Rev 17:14
Lamb, glorious comforter
Hero of destiny
Bridegroom of the church

Rev 22:16-17
Jesus can take weakness out of your life and bring strength and victory in your life.

God wants you to come! Everyone who wants the victory and the glory of Christ should come and drink freely.

2. The Communication of the Revelation Rev 1:

Plan of communication:
It was In the heart of God
Was given to Jesus his beloved, our Lord and Savior
Sent through an angel
Then to John the Beloved
To the church
And to us

Now it is in our hands, we’ll make good use of it.

How was it received?
1. It was shown to him.
He saw
2. All the things he saw of the glory of Christ, and sometimes he heard them.

Rev 4:1 – ‘Show’

It was shown unto him (Rev 21:9; 22:6).

He ‘Saw’ Rev. 1:17
There’s nothing to fear when you know the First and the Last.

John saw the judgment which was coming.

When you give your life to Jesus Christ, he becomes your Lord and Savior, your name is written in the book of life.

Rev 1:1 –

The communication is
1. Personal Rev 2:7
2. Prophetic – things that were, are, and will be.
3. Preparatory – we are given the revelation of Jesus Christ to prepare us for the coming of the Lord.
Rev 1:3, Rev 19:7

3. The Commendation of the Revelation
The Revelation is now in our hands and printed in books, and we are to do something about it.

Rev 1:3

Verbs there:
1. Read – I have a Bible, are you reading your Bible?
2. Hear – hear the word. Listen.
3. Keep – obey the word of God.

As you read about Jesus, don’t allow tradition to keep you from applying. Isaiah 34:16

Seek ye out of the book of the Lord , and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 34:16 KJV

Watch how you hear!

Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Luke 8:18 KJV

Read, turn it over in your mind, internalize it, personalize it, do something about it.

For the time is at hand –

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Matthew 24:42 KJV

Watch your habit of procrastination, of delayng the things that are essential, like giving your life to Jesus.

Today is the day for your name to enter the book of life. Don’t let it pass you by.

Jesus is mine today. I give my heart to Jesus. My name must enter the book of life.

God bless you.
