Joshua 4: 6 that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’
For the Israelites, stones were used as memorials, for the believers of today, your memorial may necessarily not be a stone but a bruise, a scar, a test you encountered and passed so stay strong in that storm knowing fully well that you’re stronger than the opposition before you. Stay strong in that fire knowing that you’ll come out refined as gold. Also hang in that situation because it is not for you alone. Coming out strong and on top of tha situation will strengthen the faith of others. Be strong for yourself and for others too.
2Cor.1:3-4 says this: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
