#LAFruits Devotional for March 25: Tell The World by @kerrytosan

VERSE: ‘But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.’ – 1 Corinthians 2:7

God’s hidden wisdom revealed in His great work of redemption had always been his master plan to save the world from sin. It was determined from eternity ‘for our glory’ – freedom, greatness, prosperity and more.

While Jesus lived on earth, people knew he could do miracles and tell them about their lives, but only a minority truly believed. After Christ rose from the grave, more believed; his resurrection showed that he had power over sin & death and offers us the same.

It is easier to believe in God when He divinely reveals Himself to us. His plans however remain a mystery to some people because they either refuse to accept it, or are yet to hear about it (Rom 10:14). God’s will is to save the world (John 3:17), but someone must take the message to them.

In 1 Cor. 2:4-5, Paul mentioned that he spoke as he received from God’s heart to ensure that the faith of those listening might be built on the power of God not mere human wisdom. Therefore, When we get a chance to speak about Jesus, let’s remember to ask for the help of the Holy Spirit rather than rely on own ability. Also, let us watch our conversation and live as an example to unbelievers around us.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for your Spirit that dwells in and guides me. May I be an effective disciple every day in reaching the lost for your kingdom. In Jesus name, Amen!
