#LA187: DAY 182 – It Requires Meekness To Trust God

Hello Amazing #LA187 Family of Eternal Life! It’s Day 182! Do the math, we’re almost there.

Quiz time 🙂

What is the lazy man’s excuse?

Hint: Proverbs 26

Today, we read Proverbs 26 and Habakkuk 3 – Zephaniah 3.

We’ll share 5 fresh lessons from the readings:

  1. Like Habakkuk, let us rejoice in the Lord despite contrary circumstances.
  2. Despite his royal blood via Hezekiah, Zephaniah served the Lord wholeheartedly and spoke the truth in an uncompromising way!
  3. Being complacent or lukewarm is as good as not being in. You are not to sit on the fence. Take all of God or none of Him!”
  4. Regardless of the intensity of the judgment, God always makes room for restoration for a remnant. Be among the remnant!
  5. It requires meekness to trust God, to relinquish your will for His will. Matt 5:5 says the meek will inherit the earth!!

Our memory verse for today was from Proverbs 26:2

Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, So a curse without cause shall not alight.
