Hint: Proverbs 26
Today, we read Proverbs 26 and Habakkuk 3 – Zephaniah 3.
We’ll share 5 fresh lessons from the readings:
- Like Habakkuk, let us rejoice in the Lord despite contrary circumstances.
- Despite his royal blood via Hezekiah, Zephaniah served the Lord wholeheartedly and spoke the truth in an uncompromising way!
- Being complacent or lukewarm is as good as not being in. You are not to sit on the fence. Take all of God or none of Him!”
- Regardless of the intensity of the judgment, God always makes room for restoration for a remnant. Be among the remnant!
- It requires meekness to trust God, to relinquish your will for His will. Matt 5:5 says the meek will inherit the earth!!
Our memory verse for today was from Proverbs 26:2
Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, So a curse without cause shall not alight.
