#LA187: DAY 181 – Watch! Write!! Wait!!!

Hello Beautiful and Favored #LA187 Family of Eternal Life! It’s Day 181! Whoop Whoop! Glory to God!

Quiz time 🙂

What is a person who has no rule over his spirit likened to?

Hint: Proverbs 25

Today, we read Proverbs 25 and Nahum 2 – Habakkuk 2.

Our cook for the day, Dr. Ola TMT, served fresh!

Proverbs 24:1

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

[Pause] Meditate.

God hides some things. For example, He hides Himself. Isaiah 45: 15

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing.

We are the kings (Revelations 1:5-6) who get honor & become honorable by searching diligently and finding out the hidden things, those things God hid.

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29.

I for one, would love to know those secret things that belong to God. Knowing the secrets of God enables you to live beyond the realm of men, you live in God’s realm, because you know His secrets.

Daniel was such. He operated in God’s own realm and WAS PREFERRED ABOVE ALL HIS CONTEMPORARIES. And He was honored above them all, because he knew what they didn’t know. (Daniel 2:19 – Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven). Doesn’t this sound sweet to you?

How do you search out these secret things? These things that belong exclusively to God alone?
Remember that God is your Father and what belongs to Him belongs to you.

Through the Holy Spirit of God:

1 Corinthians 2:10 but God has revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the DEEP THINGS OF GOD.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of adoption, Who testifies that we are sons of God and joint heirs with Christ. Whatever belongs to Him (except worship and praise, of course) belongs to us. As He (Jesus Christ) is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). As the Father sent Him, so has He sent us (John 20:21).
He gave us all things…

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear Him, and He will shew them His covenant – Psalm 25:14

The Holy Spirit empowers you to fear God and access those hidden (and fenced in) things – Isaiah 11:2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Those things that are revealed were once secrets. What corresponding action must you add to your faith in order to lay hold on these secrets of the Most High God?

Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

These great and mighty things are fenced in and hidden. The ordinary man cannot access them, but you have access to them, because God has given you His Holy Spirit to help you (John 14:26).

Ephesians 2:18
For through Him (Jesus Christ, The Way), we both have access by One Spirit (Who leads us in The Way) unto the Father.

John 16:13-15

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

Paraphrase: Enter in boldly. Call on your Heavenly Father and ask Him for the hidden things.

Eloxie from our Twitter family shared on Habakkuk:

“”I will work a work in your days which you wouldn’t believe though it was told you.”Hab.1 @La187Family are you ready? God is ready.”

“”I will stand my watch…and watch what He will say to me and what I will answer when I am corrected.” Hab 2”

“There is an attitude we must adopt with God. We must be ‘watchful’. What is God saying to me? What will I answer when corrected?”

“’Watch’ for God to speak, ‘write’ what He says, ‘wait’ for the promise.”

“Sometimes, we fail to see opportunities because we are not watching. Open your mind and eyes. Ideas will come to you. Watch!!!

“When the idea comes, don’t leave it in the air. Put pen to paper! Write!!! There is something about writing down your vision.”

“Start working on your idea, your break may not come immediately but keep preparing as you WAIT. Don’t be too hasty. Wait!

Our memory verse for today was from Proverbs 25:21

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

As Romans 12:21 adds “Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good.”
