It’s no coincidence that Proverbs 24:16 – our lovely memory verse for the day – is sending the same message as Micah 7:8.
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.
For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

We have an amazing and reassuring promise in Micah 7:7
Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me.
