Hello Mighty #LA187 Family of God! It’s Day 142! More Grace to forge AHEAD!
Quiz time 🙂
Who knew you before He formed you in your Mother’s womb?
Hint: Jeremiah 1.
Testimony time 🙂
We thank God for Supernatural provision for one of our members, from having nothing at all to having more than enough. Also, we thank God for reenergizing and strengthening our family member.
Today, we read Psalms 136 and Jeremiah 1-4.
We started with the book of Jeremiah today! We look forward to an enlightening experience.
Ibukun served a full breakfast as usual. Just like her name means, she will continue being a BLESSING in Jesus name!
On Jeremiah 1, the message is clear: you are not too young to do something. In case that has been your excuse, well you don’t have one anymore. So get up and do something and most importantly do not be afraid because God is with you.
Tessa Fresh, who was our cook for the day, echoed the same and emphasized the need to reach out to someone who is different from us and share the love of God.
You say “I’m afraid and don’t know what to say!”
God says “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth…”
It is our prayer that we speak ONLY that which God is commanding us to speak.
What does Jeremiah 2 have for us?
Tessa Fresh shared on verse 32: Can a virgin forget her ornaments, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me days without number.
The Israelites had wandered away and God wanted them back so He was sending the prophet Jeremiah. God sends His spirit to nudge us, to draw us into fellowship, to spend time alone with Him. May we be sensitive to the nudging of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name!
In Jeremiah 3, we see Israel and Judah’s sins laid out before them, yet, God beckons to them to return to Him. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God is asking you to come to Him for forgiveness and rest. The choice is yours!
On Jeremiah 4, Ibukun implores us not to wait till disaster comes. We need to understand the urgency to DO SOMETHING. If you know better, do something to make sure your neighbors do too. Let us not keep this life to ourselves, let’s do something about others.
Tessa and Ibukun must have been cooking in the same kitchen J, they shared that Psalms 136 talks about God’s unending love and mercies. It is His character!
Our memory verse for today was from Psalm 136:4
To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;
Let the people say: His Mercy endures forever!
Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
