#LA130Prayer from Luke 11 and 12:
- Lord, teach me to pray according to the right pattern IN JESUS NAME. Luke 11:1-4
- I receive the grace for persistence in prayers IN JESUS NAME. Luke 11:8-10
- Thank you Lord for the good gift of the Holy Spirit IN JESUS NAME. Luke 11:13
- I will hear and keep the word of God so that I will receive the blessings it contains IN JESUS NAME. Luke 11: 28
- I shall be rich towards God and rich in possessions. Luke 12:21
We see Jesus teaching on prayer in Luke 11. Here are a few lessons to be learned and applied.
- The foundation of prayer is knowing that it is a Father-Child conversation.
- And then He said…”WHEN you pray…” Not IF you pray. The stamina of the Believer is hinged on his prayer life.
- He who is a stranger to prayer is a stranger to power. Prayer fans the flame of the fire we carry!!
- Jesus Christ while on earth gave Himself to a life of prayer. We can say He was a prayer Warrior.
- Jesus encourages persistency in prayers.
