Read the Book! Isaiah Chapters 9-11 July 17
Isaiah 10:4 “Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, And they shall fall among the slain.” For all this His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still.”
It is really sad. God through the preaching of Isaiah is trying to get Israel to change.
Is it not so obvious. God is angry. Will you die? Will you continue to deny God’s authority. But without Him, its death! Five times Isaiah says, ”For all this His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still.” NKJV Look at that phrase. “But His hand is stretched out still.” It’s like saying we are drowning, but His hand is within reach. Or, we are dying, but His hand is within reach.
The Bible says God is angry with the wicked every day Psalm 7:11. But I am here to tell you God’s hand is stretched out still. When are we going to come to ourselves like the prodigal? Luke 15:17 When he came to himself he reached out!
Whatever problem or situation we are facing, even if it is of our own making, even if we are already suffering under God’s anger, His hand is stretched out still! Put it all in God’s hand!
