May Blessing Sunday with Dr Paul Enenche

HOME CHURCH MEETING – SATURDAY, 9TH MAY, 2020
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): ECCLESIASTES 10:10; PSALM 90:12
MESSAGE TOPIC: WISDOM FOR DAILY LIVING
By: Dr. Paul Enenche

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE: Understanding what it takes to live wisely, daily

THE NECESSITY OF WISDOM:
1. Wisdom eliminates stress and struggle in life (Eccl. 10:10)
2. Wisdom guarantees profit
3. Wisdom brings direction (Eccl. 10:10)
4. Wisdom brings multiplication (John 6:6)

WISDOM FOR DAILY LIVING:
1. Put God first in the day (Matt. 6:33; Gen. 19:27)
Let God take the first place in the day, and that day must go well
Avoid the temptation of doing other things first before speaking to God
When you put God first in the day, you are connecting the strength, the wisdom and the Divine resources to handle the day

2. Appreciate God for the privilege of life – appreciate Him for the gift of the day (Ps. 150:6; 3:5)
Every day is a gift from God that is why it is called the Present

3. Prepare your ways in the day before the Lord (2Chron. 27:6; Job 38:12)
The things you need to do in the day, arrange them at the place of prayer
To do otherwise is like entering the vehicle without asking the driver where the vehicle is going
Don’t start the day without knowing where you want it to go
Don’t over-schedule your day so you don’t get frustrated at the end of the day if you could not accomplish all that you have scheduled

4. Waste no time lamenting missed opportunities and failures of the previous day (Phil. 3:13)
Until you forget the failures of yesterday, you don’t take delivery of the success of today
There is no future in the past; you don’t walk backwards into tomorrow
The easiest way to waste a day is to lament the issues of the past and to worry about the issues of the future

5. Be aggressively on the lookout for the opportunities and possibilities that the day has brought and maximize them (Prov. 4:18; Ps. 84:7)
Each day has come with; fresh opportunities and possibilities
What you look out for determines what you locate out of life; there can be no manifestation without expectation
Things happen for you not because you deserve them but because you are desperate for them

6. Be on the lookout for specific instructions and directions for the day (Ps. 19:1-2; Isa. 50:4; Deut. 9:5-6)
Every day comes with something to do
Existence without instruction is existence without revelation and existence without revelation is existence without revolution

7. Give your very best to every task at hand – give all you’ve got to what you do (Eccl. 9:10; Acts 20:20)
You must give all you have got because you will not pass this way again
Whatever is worth doing is worth doing excellently and blastfully

8. Direct your time discreetly (Eph. 5:15)
Exchange the time with something useful and profitable
What is not your intention does not deserve your attention

9. Live with eternity consciousness; let relationship with God influence everything you do (Eccl. 12:13-14)
Don’t forget yourself in this world
Anything that does not have God in the centre, let it go
What God did not give you, He will not keep for you
What you compromise to get, you must compromise to keep

10. Appreciate God for a fruitful day (Ps. 103:1-5)
While you are appreciating God, identify things in the course of the day for which you are appreciative
Confirm to God that your day was not wasted

PRAYERS:
