T.D. Jakes – Mommas, Mentors, Moments

Until you learn how to honor someone that is not perfect, you may never be able to honor yourself.

Every day, I am grateful for the things my mother placed into me.

Sometimes the wisest thing a good mother should do is to turn her kids over to God.

Where mothers stop, mentors take over.

God put you in the situation you are in, to make you tough so you can become what God has designed you to be.

Let’s not run away from conflict and discomfort, as those are the definining moments of our lives.

Defining moments raise you!

Have you ever had a moment that drew out something that was hid inside of you. You didnt know you could write like that; you didn’t know you could pray like that. Those moments when a man standsup inside of you.

Like a full grown man, you have to stand up and handle your business; you can cry later.

You can’t change what you did yesterday you can only stand on what you are doing now.

Sometimes it takes you a long time before you have your moment.

Declare:
This will not break me
It may riaise me, strengthen me, uncover me, but it will not break me.
I thank you Lord for what you are drawing out of me – the wisdom the strength, the peace.

Amen. God bless T.D. Jakes.
