Speak to those dry bones in your life (Ezekiel 37)! #LAFruits

Ezekiel 37 chronicles the prophet’s visit to the valley of dry bones. Although this chapter is not new to anyone, it is worth echoing, especially for many of us who have forgotten how the voice of faith sounds.

We see here a valley full of bones (v. 2) – dry bones!
We also hear a question: Son of man, can these bones live?

Every time you are faced with a challenging situation, you will surely hear a question; how you answer will betray what is in your heart. Will you answer with the voice of faith or will you answer with the voice of fear?

Ezekiel’s faith was tested: Son of man, can these bones live?
Ezekiel’s answer did not disappoint God. He didn’t answer like the man at the pool of Bethesda, who when he was asked,

“Do you want to be made well?” answered off-key by saying,

“Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up…”

No. Not so Ezekiel. Ezekiel passed the baton to God, “O Lord God, thou knowest.”

My soul, God is asking you a question: Can the dry bones in your life live?
How you answer will betray what is in your heart: Faith or fear.

I will answer by faith in Jesus name.

And God said to him, “Prophesy upon these bones, and say to them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.”

Dearly beloved, that is it. Speak to that situation and command it to hear the word of the Lord.
Look that problem in the eye and say to it, Hear the voice of the Lord!

He did, ‘and bone joined to bone, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceeding great army’ (v. 10).

My question to you is, “Will you prophesy unto the dry bones of your life tonight?”
