READ #SEW14 Devotional Day 15 – ‘Our God, The Doer Of The Impossible’ – Daniel 2

‘The king said to Daniel, ‘Truly, your God is the greatest of gods, the Lord over kings, a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this secret.’ Daniel 2:47

It is easy to get carried away with life. It is equally easy to quote God’s word as cliché, for instance when we say ‘with God nothing is impossible’ when our hearts say otherwise. Do you really believe that with God nothing is impossible? Do you believe that it is God’s will that you prosper and excel in all that you do? Do you truly believe that God wants to spend time with you daily and share in every aspect of your life and loves you with all His heart?

What do you believe about God’s love for you? Do you know that He has only thoughts of peace towards you? Do you know that He knows you better than anyone else does?

Daniel was faced with an impossible, life-threatening situation however his attitude provoked a heathen king to testify about God and give God high praise. When we show our trust in God, through our response to impossible situation’s, we will see how God will glory Himself in it. Nothing is too hard for God.

God shows up when we rely on Him with complete confidence in His ability to save and deliver. Put your entire trust in God today no matter what and see how He will show up for you (Proverbs 3:5).

‘Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He has ALL wisdom and power.’ Daniel 2:20-22.

Prayer Focus
Dear Heavenly Father, please help me to remember that with You nothing is impossible. You are always the first port of call when trouble rears its head in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
