When people give you good counsel it is because they love you. It is because they want you to do the right thing and end well.
Many times, I have despised their counsel. I have chosen instead to do my own thing. And the results to go my own way have more often than not, being regrettable.
Since then I have made up my mind to always seek godly counsel before making an important decision.
Want to marry? Seek counselors.
Want to do business? Seek counselors.
Even so, we should increase in wisdom so that we will become wise counselors.
Don’t be wise in your own eyes.
Seek wisdom.
Seek godly counsel.
Prayer Focus:
Dear Lord, help me to seek godly counsel. Let me never be ashamed or slow to ask for your will and way. In Jesus name.
