#LAProverbs MV Day 17

A man of perverse heart does not prosper; he whose tongue is deceitful falls into trouble‘ Prov 17: 20

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health even as thy soul prospereth.’ 3 John 1:2 KJV

Prosperity should feature in all our lives. God wants us to have it and we all desire it for ourselves. It starts from within. It starts from the state of our hearts, our attitude, which then translates into physical manifestations. For example an envious heart, a judgmental one or a pessimistic heart etc. would not produce a prosperous life. Such attitudes blind and prevent us from seeing what we need to do to achieve the kind of success we desire. They obstruct from applying and gaining God’s wisdom into areas of our lives that are lacking. The end result, zero productivity, a crushed spirit and dry bones (Prov 17:22).

If something we’ve desired seems prolonged, maybe it is time to apply wisdom and develop a positive mindset. Lose that ‘overly competitive attitude’, set realistic goals, walk in love, live and let live, and basically achieve growth. We don’t need to be fixated on the accomplishments of others instead let us focus on being better.

The race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the strong…time and chance happens to them all’ Ecc 9:11

He has made EVERYTHING beautiful, in its time.’ Ecc 3:11

It is time to stop worrying, to focus on our inside. God will make all grace abound unto us.
