READ: #FRUITS15 Devotional Day 5: Jesus, Abide In Me

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in Him, bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.
If you abide in me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.’ John 15:5-7

Hallelujah!

I’ll like to say Amen to this one.

Jesus not only tells us that we will be fruitful, but also gives us the formula for fruitfulness – abiding in Him and His words abiding in us.

It is now in our hands to make sure we abide in Him and have His ever living, and active, word abiding in us. That word, which brings comfort (Psalm 119:50). That word, which gives hope (Psalm 119:49). That word, which guides us into all fruitfulness (2 Peter 1:8).

It is now for us to choose, to hold on to the word of God. Even when it seems all hope is lost because we know that His Word never fails (Joshua 21:45).

Let us hold on to the word of God in 2015.
Let us make 2015 the year of not just learning (hearing and reading) the word,  but also the year of applying (doing) the word in every area of our lives.

And once we have God’s word, which brings results, abiding in our spirit we will reproduce marvellous results to our world.

God bless you and have a 2015 of abundant fruitfulness!
