READ #Fruits15 Devotional Day 2 – Believe And Proclaim The Jesus You Know

BELIEVE AND PROCLAIM THE JESUS YOU KNOW

‘You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Therefore God, Your God has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than your companions’
Hebrews 1:9

Even in our brokenness: the cracks, the tears and dirty smears. He loves us into righteousness. In Christ, our trials have purpose; they exalt His triumphs. Our confessed iniquities an offering at the final sacrifice of all sin; they glorify His name through our belief in the life and death of the Son.

But when we face moments of doubts; those times when our weaknesses are credible witnesses to how little we love righteousness, remember this – giving up is not an option. At best, it deceives us by saying, “don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s normal; we are all sinners.”

It is hard to explain to people the Jesus you know when you have lived a life that has been more lawless than righteous. It is harder still to express the Jesus we believe when ‘karma’ and vengeance are promoted over love, forgiveness and second chances.

Our God is the only way. Jesus is the only way. There is no other who cares enough to see you triumph as who you are. No other who will chase you until the end because He first loved you, He knew you would fall. fall. And lowered Himself for our sake.

God knew us before the fall and has hope in us through His Son. Even if the mirror doesn’t reflect the Sonship in you, still proclaim.

Proclaiming the gospel of Christ, is everything and more to the people on this earth because God has commanded it. No matter in who or what mankind choose to place its hope, in the end they will find the answer is always Jesus.

Make a decision today to finally lay to rest every thought and/or weakness that stops your mouth from confessing the gladness in your heart; the truth of Jesus Christ, the son of God.
