#LAkings [Devotional]: God Can Use Anybody by @feyily

There have Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him King over Israel. Blow trumpet and shout, ‘Long live King Solomon’– 1Kings 1: 32

Remember God can use anybody, when next you feel like God uses some special people to accomplish his purpose. God is not all out for those who are perfect. Most people he used in the Bible had flaws, Abraham was too old, Jacob was a liar and a cheater, Noah was a drunk, Moses stammered, Rahab was a prostitute Timothy was too young and had ulcer, David committed adultery and was a killer, Ruth was a widow, Peter denied Jesus, Paul persecuted Christians. If God can use these ones then we have no excuse.

Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah was wrongfully taken by David and got her husband killed was the mother of Solomon. If God can use Solomon, God can use anyone despite our backgrounds. We should not let where we come from hinder us from the height God wants to take us to in life. In the genealogy of Christ four women were mentioned, the four not perfect but God used them. Tamar, an adulteress, Ruth, a gentile, Rahab, a harlot and Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah taken by King David. No matter who you are or what you have done, God can use you for his own purpose.

God crowned Solomon instead of Adonijah, the heir to the throne truly He raises from the dust, and lifts the needy from ash heap, to set them among Princes.

Prayers
Lord, use me for your glory in Jesus name. Lord, make me fit for your use in Jesus Name. May I not be vessel unto dishonour in Jesus Name.
