#LAFruits 1 Tim 4:15 – Wait. Don’t Give Up!

Wait. Don’t Give Up!

Cultivate these things. Immerse yourself in them. The people will all see you mature right before their eyes! 1 Timothy 4:15 (MSG)

It is not over until God’s outcome. That is the truth of our lives and experience through this journey of faith – God will not give up on you (John 3:16-17)! Meditate on those things that affirm God’s purpose for you; you are making progress. Keep at it. Don’t leave anything to chance and sit back believing it is the work of the enemy. We all will experience salvation, no matter what you see or how hard or far-fetched this goal of living a godly and purpose-filled life may be. All we need is to keep practicing, become consumed by a desire to be all God wants us to be.

So if you need to reclaim the vision, blow the dust off and review what God started. If you need to release the pause button, do it now and let the vision play. If the draft needs to be deleted and rewritten by the Holy Spirit, delete it, let God in and start over. When we trust that there are no mistakes in God, we allow the fruition of God’s positioning to manifest into an abundant purpose for living.

Also, we “the people” need to work on our ways of seeing too. Observe and encourage one another’s growth in Christ. Look at one another by not being distracted by the back story or even what is currently on view in each others’ lives but focus on the unseen glory and salvation, which is the ultimate end.

And if you have backslid and feel the climb back up is too much, we “the people” will come down and pray to lift you up. We have hope in those things unseen in you yet; so DON’T GIVE UP!

Pray that the Lord fills us with the Holy Spirit. So that we may be sensitive to its leading and our maturity in Christ will be a visible testimony of God’s Grace in us, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
