#LA187: DAY 158 – God Of Another Chance

#LA187 FAMILY

Hello Sanctified #LA187 Family of God! It’s Day 158! Verily Verily The Lord Is Good!

Quiz time 🙂

What were some of the abominable things done in the temple?

Hint: Ezekiel 8.

Today, we read Proverbs 2 and Ezekiel 8-11.

On Ezekiel 8, @ete_ubom commented ‘You cannot hide from God, no mountain can cover you, His eyes are well on you.”.Niyi observed that the whole chapter shows us clearly that God is a jealous God. He indeed wants to be our everything.

We will not abandon the Creator for the creation in Jesus name.

In Ezekiel 9, we read about the destruction of idolaters throughout the land. However, there was a special group of people set apart from destruction – Those who bore the mark of God! May each and every #LA187 family member bear the mark of the living God in Jesus name!

Ibukun served a tasty breakfast meal as usual! Gifted Chef! From Ezekiel 10, we see that sin is God repellent. We cannot live in sin and expect God to surround us.

On Ezekiel 11, she shared that God’s promise to bring back the exiles and give them a new heart and spirit shows just how far He is willing to go to restore His people back to Him. A new heart and spirit means being transformed by the renewal of our minds. As new creatures in Christ, we are automatically renewed but we have to learn to walk in these new shoes. That’s where it becomes deliberate.

Wow! He is indeed a God of second chances! Hold on, let’s not limit this merciful God, He is indeed a God of ANOTHER Chance!

Proverbs 2 continues to roll out the endless benefits of wisdom! Let us desire the wisdom that God gives.

Our memory verse for today was from Proverbs 2:11

Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you.

Oh! The benefits of having God as our counselor!

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
