#LA187: DAY 144 – The Lord Will Perfect That Which Concerns Us

FRESHNESS[1]

Hello Favored and Elevated #LA187 Family of God! It’s the last day in the month of July. God doesn’t need a whole day to do what He wants to do.

Quiz time 🙂

God says not to glory in ____________ but to glory in _____________?

Hint: Jeremiah 9.

Today, we read Psalms 138 and Jeremiah 9-12.

Psalms 138 – Fresh Chapter! The Lord will work out His plans for our lives. The Lord will perfect all that concerns us. Let’s keep speaking these fresh words. It will chase away all forms of worry, fear, anxiety and self-pity because we’re assured that everything is working out for our good!

#LA187 family members could not skip over Jeremiah 9:23-24 which reads:

 Thus says the Lord:

“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

Simply put – The only boasting allowed in the Bible is that you truly know God.

Jeremiah 10 hammers on the futility of idols and idol worship. Remember the Bible says those who make them are just like them (Psalms 115:8; 135:18). How does Jeremiah 10 describe them? Dumb and worthless!

Jeremiah 11: 4-5 sends across a strong and helpful message – FOR FRESH LIVING, OBEY GOD!

Our breakfast chef, Ibukun dished a tasty one on Isaiah 12:2 – At every point in time, God is looking at our hearts. With everything we do or say, God checks our hearts to see if we are on track. So it isn’t really about what others see but what God knows.  “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatever a man sows, that he will reap.” We cannot mock God because He sees our hearts and knows the reason for our every move. So “Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it comes the issues of life.”

Our memory verse for today was from Psalm 138:8

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Perfect verse for the perfect day. Shout it out loud!! THE LORD WILL PERFECT THAT WHICH CONCERNS #LA187 Family!!!!

See you in AUGUST!

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
