#LA187: DAY 131 – Fix Your Thoughts on Jesus….And Then Peace Will Come

FRESHNESS

Hello #FRESH Family! It’s Day 131. Fresh day, Fresh blessings and Fresh miracles unto you!.

Quiz time 🙂

Complete the following: Do good, O Lord, to _____________, And to _______________.

Hint: Psalms 125

Today, we read Psalms 125 and Isaiah 23-26.

We are beginning to get used to Ibukun’s early morning starters:

The landscape will be a moonscape, totally wasted. Why? Because God says so. He issued the orders. – Isaiah 24:3

“This blew my mind! Why will I be successful? Because God says so.

Why can’t I be sick? Because God says so.

Why are we fresh and flourishing? Because God says so.

Nothing can come against the word of God. And He speaks in our favor so we have nothing to fear. Isaiah has just shown that whatever God wants will happen. He can change ANY situation around. Honestly, having God on your side is only wise!”

On Isaiah 23, she observed that the people of Tarshish were all money and business oriented. A classic example of the love of money being the root of all evil and truly, evil came upon them such that they would end up not recovering. Moral Lesson: Always put God first! And of course, money is not everything.

Ibukun, receive Grace to continue in this race. We appreciate you.

Ifeoluwa was our Top Chef for the day and she brought FRESH servings along with her:

She started off with Psalms 125:2

As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.

Rest in the assurance and knowledge that the lord is guiding and protecting his people and as one of them, he’s got your back. Let it sink into your spirit that nothing bad can happen to you just because God surrounds you on every side. He has legions of angels around you just so that His word never falls to the ground. We are spiritual Israelites. We are God’s people. The Lord surrounds us as a mighty terrible one. Moving and destroying everything that dares crush us. He will uphold us with His right hand of righteousness. Halleluyah!!!!!

On Isaiah 25, we are to rejoice in the fact that God will swallow up death in victory and He will wipe away from all faces the reproach of His people.

We moved on to Isaiah 26:3 where she pointed out that the reason why we fret a lot is because our thoughts wander away from Him and our hearts are not wholly trusting. So if we ever feel unrest in our souls, we should turn our thoughts towards God and then peace will come.

As usual, she had many helpers in the kitchen. Hopilinto added in that we must learn to trust in the Lord for He alone is able to give us peace, yes, even perfect peace.

Henry asked a vital question: “How do we trust what we haven’t seen?”

The answer: With FAITH. Faith makes you see. It gives sight to the eyes of our heart. We need to build up our most holy faith.

#MAKASH

Our memory verse for today was from Psalm 125:1

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

Mount Zion cannot be moved and nothing will move us because we trust in the LORD!

Yes and AMEN!

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
