#LA187: DAY 106 – Go For The Word

Happy Sunday Beloved. How was Church?

Do you know that the devil hates for you to get knowledge? Always Go for the word… put the devil to shame!

It’s Day 106 already… yippee!Today we read Psalms 106 and Nehemiah 8-11.

#Fresh insight on Psalms 106:8

Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His mighty power known.

“Sometimes God performs mighty miracles,  not because of anything we’ve done but for His name’s sake. He has to defend His name. Perfect example: He gave the Israelites victory over Syria under Ahab’s reign. We all know that Ahab worshipped moi moi gods yet God gave the Syrians into His hand. Why? The Syrians thought the living GOD was a moi moi god. God had to show Himself.” – Olu Seun

I Kings 20:23, 28 NKJV

Then the servants of the king of Syria said to him, “Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than we; but if we fight against them in the plain, surely we will be stronger than they.

Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, “Thus says the Lord : ‘Because the Syrians have said, “The Lord  is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord .’ ”

We also noticed that Nehemiah 9 is a mirror of Psalms 106, … as @ogetours from our Twitter family mentioned, the Israelites had a special case of Spiritual Amnesia. May we not fall victims to such in Jesus name. We will always reflect on God’s goodness and remain grateful.

Again, go for the Word, it keeps God’s goodness, mercies, power, abundant blessings, promises…,  at the forefront of your mind.

Don’t forget the daily memory verse taken from Psalms 106:3

“Blessed are those who keep justice, And he who does righteousness at all times!”

DO Righteousness!

Have a blessed, fresh, fruitful, favoured, pleasant, excellent week ahead! Go for the Word…Go FORWARD!
