Introducing…. #LA130Prayer – Praying based on the Word of God. Here are the prayer points based on today’s reading:
- Every area of my life that is paralyzed! Hear the word of the Lord and receive life in Jesus name! Matthew 9:2,6
- Father, everything that is stopping me from following you, remove in my life in Jesus name. Matthew 9:9
- I receive authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every form of disease in Jesus name. Matthew 10:1
- Father, I receive grace to speak the right words at the right time in Jesus name. Matthew 10:19
- Lord Jesus, give me the grace to acknowledge you publicly on earth. Matthew 10:32
Observe in today’s reading that Jesus responded to the faith to all who wanted their healing. As Christians, we cannot afford not to have faith!
Matthew 9:2 – Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”
Matthew 9:22 – Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
Matthew 9:29 – Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.”
Why do we need to build this faith? It is what pleases God. (Hebrews 11:6)
How do we build this faith? Learning and Applying the Word (#LA130), Hearing the Word (Romans 10:17)
When do we build this faith? Constantly and consistently – ALL THE TIME.
Food For Thought: God will react to your faith and not your face. Invest in your faith!
