Weep Not, The Lamb Is Worthy
TEXT: “And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to lose the seven seals thereof” Revelation 5:5
Can you remember what happened at Calvary? How the Lamb of God was nailed to the cross, though not as a sinner but for the sinners? Can you also remember another drama at Calvary, how the blood of the Lamb was shared on the cross for the remission and atonement of our sin?
In heaven, the blood is speaking fully on our behalf because the Son of God opens the seals. He has received power, strength, riches, wisdom, honor, glory and the blessing for total dominion over the devil.
When nothing else can speak for us. When our strength, family or work cannot save us. The worthy blood, of the heir of David, will powerfully come to our rescue – to protect us from all forms of wrath unto eternal salvation.
LEARN and APPLY: When we are challenged and/or lost, we must remember the One on the throne. Jesus has done everything to make us live like heirs to the throne.
Pray: Lord, abide with me in righteousness. Make me reign over sickness, disease, failure, lack, stagnation and the wrath of sin through Christ, who has opened the book of salvation, that I may sing for joy forever in Jesus’ name. Amen
