The Revelation Power In Keeping Instructions

Text: “blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophesy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” Revelation 1:3 (NKJV)

Living God’s word, which is doing as His word admonished, grants us access to revelations on anything the word addresses. We are better equipped with spiritual information (Revelation), better behaved and better organized for His directives.

When we read, or hear, the word without putting it into practice, we have retained just what is written. And for us to find a comforting and solid foundation in His word, we would need to do more than just hearing and reading, but doing and keeping. No wonder John said, “for the time is at hand”. How could he tell? Because he practiced what he preached (keeping things written), and this exposed him to revelations of the end time.

We will know more about God’s way, and deeds, when we become His friend. We become His friend, when we obey His every instruction. So let us follow the word of God to the end. Let us do the Lord’s bidding on earth – in truth and kind, for access to His secrets.

LEARN and APPLY: Practice the scriptures daily in our lives. Take every instructions of God and stay with it until we have successfully, and acceptably, experienced His intentions.

Pray: Father, we approach Your throne this morning with thanks giving in our heart. We are appreciative of Your words and instructions. Grant unto us the grace to follow through in our actions, leading to revelations of Your person and Your mighty works, Amen
