The Last Blood And His Grace

TEXT: “let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water” Hebrews 10:22 (NLT)

There is no such thing as trusting God half way. Our trust is either absolute or it is not trust (Proverbs 3:5-6). When we trust in God wholeheartedly we become spiritually stronger and it takes a strong communion with the spirit to see the unseen, and relate with its provisions (1 Cor. 2:10). But God’s ways are not like mans, His provisions come with responsibilities before results and tests before testimonials. And without the Holy Spirit fully alert and active in us, we may fail to see the end God has planned; thereby we fail to trust in His provisions.

Hebrews 10 is about trusting the blood of Jesus, which was used as the last card. The blood of animals couldn’t give us a lasting forgiveness to the sins of men. It was the blood of the new covenant. It erased our inconsistencies and our sins are remembered no more, Hebrews 10:17.

We can trust this blood for everything good, in the morning or at night. The blood is to us our favour and a weapon unto victory. It is our grace.

LEARN and APPLY: Trust, like faith is a conscious effort. We need to begin to build our trust in the blood by consistently exposing ourselves to the scriptural truth about the blood

Pray: Father we thank you for the blood of your son that was shed to make us clean for the very last time. We pray for grace to trust in the blood of Jesus for our total victory. Amen.
