Let Us Return To The Lord

TEXT: “Come, and let us return to the Lord…” Hosea 6:1a (NKJV)

Friends, you and I are stewards. It is expected of stewards to give account of how we carry out our assigned responsibilities and in my walk, and work, for God, I discovered that giving account is one the things we loathe.
We need to make account of how we have been faring, and like the above verse says, you and I need to return to the Lord; especially in our financial management.

In the parable of the talent, we see Jesus asking for our stewardship in handling our talents, which was like an average annual wage. In the miracle of feeding five thousand, we see the disciples gathering the crumbs. Friends, our God is not a spend drift. He always wants proper account for all things given to us.

How are you managing the money kept in your charge? Are you prepared to give account when called upon?
Be prepared!

LEARN and APPLY: you are a caretaker of everything committed into your hands. Be prepared to give a proper account for the Lord.

Pray: Lord help me not to have an entitlement mentality. Help me to always keep in focus that I am a steward in Jesus’ name. Amen.
