Luke 18

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. Luke 18:1

Learn and Apply: You must have seen stickers like, Pray Until Something Happens (PUSH). This really should be a reminder to not stop praying until we receive the answer we seek. Quite often, after praying for a while, we give up and write it off as ‘Not God’s will for my life.’ This ought not to be so.

Like the widow who demanded justice (vv. 2-5), we must learn to persevere in the place of prayer until we receive God’s touch for our life, business, family, and ministry. God is not like the unjust judge, He will not turn a deaf ear to our cries. He will arise and avenge those that trouble us speedily.

May God help us to persevere in the place of prayer, so that we will receive the promise in Jesus name.

Pray: Thank you Father for always answering my prayers. Help me not to be weary in the place of prayer; and as I pray, answer me speedily in Jesus name.
