Wisdom To Do More!

TEXT: ” But Solomon took thirteen years to build his own house; so he finished all his house.” 1 Kings 7:1 (NKJV)

LEARN And APPLY:

Whatever you have achieved to date, there is room to achieve more. One would imagine that after Solomon finished building the temple, that he would just relax and enjoy the glow of his achievement. Instead, he spent another thirteen years building his own house, and then some more.

Sadly, some of us tend to relax, or take a break, after a major achievement. Now, taking a break is not a bad idea, but taking a break for too long can be dangerous. Let us avoid relishing the good feeling of achievement for too long that you lose the zeal for more.

PRAY: Lord, with You all things are possible. Grant us the grace to reach for more that we are currently doing in Jesus name.
