#LAPsalms Devotional May 21 – Let It Out

Let It Out

Psalm 61

Text: From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalms 61:2 NKJV

Learn and Apply:

It is good to know that there is an ear that’s never tired of listening to the cries of our hearts. Man may get tired of our cries, and sorrows, and heaviness. Not so God. God is the rock that is higher than all our problems. He does not move. Like Mount Zion, he stands forever. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace from whence we shall obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need (Heb 4:16).

Are you in need? Come to God and receive grace and mercy. Pour out your heart to him, cry freely, let out all the pain, let out all the anxiety, all the heart break, all the disappointment, and let God fill you with His love, and comfort, and peace.

As we go to God today, may His peace overshadow us in Jesus name. May every burden be lifted in Jesus name.

Prayer: Father, you said that all who labor and are heavy laden should come to you. Lord I come today, asking that you lift every burden in my heart. Restore me o Lord! Refresh me in Jesus name! Thank you Father, in Jesus name I pray.
