2 lessons from the book of Ruth #LAWisdom Devotional

😊

God bless you family

From Team Clarity.

Thank God for journey mercies through Ruth.

From reading the book of Ruth, especially chapter 4, we observe the following:

1. Ruth was obedient and loyal to Naomi. She followed Naomi’s instructions and that helped her fulfill her destiny.

Young men and women ought to learn from the wisdom of the old and wise, so as to fully possess all our possessions.

2. Boaz was responsible. No reason was given for the nearest kinsman’s refusal to take Ruth under his wing. He wanted the land, but not the landlady. Boaz, however, saw it as duty to stand in for his relative and wipe away Ruth’s tears.

Christians must look inwards first – from our kinsmen in the flesh, to our kinsmen in Christ. May we even go further to redeem lost souls to Christ in Jesus name.

In the end, the story that had such depressing beginning, ended gloriously.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
Hebrews 10:35‭-‬36 NKJV

You and I will receive the promise in Jesus name.
