We should endeavour to make writing a habit by @feyily

Psalm 45:1
‘My heart is overflowing with a good theme, I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.’

Whilst we earnestly encourage ourselves through praise and worship on trusting God when we are in need,we should not forget to thank God when things are good. We should endeavour to make writing a habit. Each time we receive God’s goodness we should sing His praises, write poems to adore Him and make His wondrous deeds known. God delights in our praises.
The world is ready to draw away our hearts from Christ, but we should not allow this to happen. In Romans 8:35 it asks, ‘What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?’
Above all situations God is worthy of our praise.
It can be so easy being overwhelmed with uncertainty for the things God is yet to do. We forget to give Him praise for the things He has already done. If we write God a poem each time He delights our hearts, how much more will He be delighted to do more for us because He knows in return He will get praises, and we know God inhabits the praises of His people.
Have you heard the tale of Mr X and Mr Y? Mr X would always come to God to complain, lament and tell God of what his contemporaries have achieved, how he is suffering and how miserable his life has become. While Mr Y would approach the throne of mercy with a heart full of thanks and praise God for all He has done and the things He will do. Each time Mr Y did this, God was aroused by his praises and He would send his angels to grant him his desires.
Just like Mr Y we should make praising God a lifestyle.
‘Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits’ Psalm 103:2

Prayers
Lord, help me to praise you in every situation in which I find myself. Lord may I never forget your goodness to me in times of comfort in Jesus Name. Amen
