Strategically Developing and Reproducing Effective Fruitful Ministers by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

Strategically Developing and Reproducing Effective Fruitful Ministers.

1. The significance of an effective multiplier
2. The sacrifice of an enduring minister
3. The sanctification of an established messenger

1. The significance of an effective multiplier
2 Timothy 2:!
a. Remain

Remain an effective minister
Remain a faithful son
Remain a good soldier
Remain an able teacher
Remain a profitable/fruitful laborer
Remain an approved workman
Remain a sanctified vessel

b. Reproduce

Reproduce faithful sons – you are a faithful son yourself, so reproduce them.
Reproduce able teachers
Reproduce fruitful laborers
Reproduce approved workers

c. Refine
Refine effective ministers
Refine faithful sons Phil. 2:19
Refine faithful teachers Col 1:28
Refine good soldiers 2 Tim 2:3; 1 Cor 9:27
Refine approved workmen 2 TIm 2:15
Refine sanctified vessels 2 Tim 2:21

God knows when you have given your best, prepared very well, and taught in grace, in love of the people you are teaching.

2. The sacrifice of an enduring minister

2 Tim 2:8-9

Ask yourself, has the ministry made you to suffer? Are you sacrificially doing the work?

1. The endurance of a son. Heb 12:7
2. The endurance of a teacher. The students may not get it the first time, don’t give up! 2 TIm 1:11-12; 2 Timothy 2:10
3. The endurance of a good soldier 2 Tim 2:3.
– endurance while striving for your calling 1 Pet 2:19
– endurance of the laborers. 2 Tim 3:11
– endurance of a workman. 2 Tim 4:2-5
– endurance of servants Heb 11:27

If you are looking too much at your persecutors, you will get tired. When you look away from all your opposers, and look to God as seeing him who is invisible, you’ll overcome, you’ll succeed in ministry.

3. The sanctification of an established messenger
2 Tim 2:19
We need to examine ourselves to find out what the Lord has done and how we are keeping what he has done.

God’s servants must

– depart from iniquity 1 Jn 3:3. They must depart from external sins, habitual sins, common sins, occasional sins. Flee youthful lusts, don’t be sucked into their corruption.
– follow righteousness and peace
– avoid a life of strife
– be meek and gentle to all men.
– call captives to repentance

God wants us to remain sanctified, established in truth, holiness and purity.

The work of God will prosper in your hands in Jesus name.
