READ #LAProverbs Devotional Day 24 ‘They That Wait On the Lord’

#LAProverbs MV Day 24

If you falter in times of trouble; it shows how small your strength is.‘ Prov 24:10

We all don’t pray for bad times to fall upon us and Christianity doesn’t promise a smooth ride all the way. God’s promise to us, is that He will be with us in times of trouble (Psalm 91). So how do we handle such situations when they come our way? We wait upon the lord.

They that wait upon their God shall renew their strength; they shall mount up wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint’ Is 40:31

A man of knowledge increases strength’ Prov 24:5

How do we wait upon the Lord? By increasing our knowledge of the word and applying it in our lives. We build our faith. The word teaches us to completely trust God. This would provide hope, comfort, and peace even in the face of adversity.

The word is the source of strength we need to survive. Challenges can either make weaklings out of us, or bring growth. It all depends on our response.

Prayer Focus
Father, we are willing to wait upon You. Let Your spirit help us to stay true to You and strong in You no matter what, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
