READ #LAActs Devotional Day 28 ‘Your Prayers Must Agree With Your Mind!’

for the hearts of these people are hardened and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes- so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them. Act 28:27

A question was asked of a man of God, ‘Sir, why is it that people pretend to have faith and talk faith whereas, what they think in the heart is doubt, unbelief and fear.’ Jesus too remarked that he couldn’t do many miracles because of unbelief. Matthew13:58

We can fake our appearance before man but not before God. He deals with our heart and can tell what goes on in it. No doubt there are challenges that may want to tip you off balance in your faith but the truth is, to get solutions you can’t afford to be faithless.

Every word of God is signs and wonders, study it to be approved and for your faith to come. There are many things God wants to do for you but without your permission, God can’t do much. You need to align your vision with God’s word, let your ear hear His plan and give your heart to the understanding of His power.

Prayer is a must for all Christians, but your prayers without believing is death. Mark 11 states, when you pray believing; you shall receive. What differentiates an answered and unanswered prayer is belief. Your ears, eyes and heart should partner with your mouth in prayers.

Discipline yourself. Remember, no one can do it but God.

Desire a thing, pray the thing and believe. You will receive. Mark 11:24.

Prayer Focus
Lord, Your word says the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short. We decree that our expectations are not cut, Let the spirit of the Lord correct our unbelief – to see right, hear right and think right, in Jesus’ name Amen.
