#LAIsaiah Devotional Day 28 ‘Stop Toiling’ by @0rode

Stop Toiling!

Are you weary or find that no matter how much you gain, you are always lacking? Shift your focus and stop expending your money and time on the wrong things, which do no satisfy.

It doesn’t matter what financial yields you gain or are able to demonstrate, what matters are that your efforts serve a higher purpose. Those that left their profession to follow Jesus did not lack and when an occasion required it, Jesus used their craftsmanship to advance the kingdom.

God needs you to stop and listen up and listen carefully. Stop doing and being busy but listen closely and listen carefully to what God desires. It produces abundant life, a life of eternal covenant and the ability to walk into a marketplace and purchase without credit.

Find your focus in Christ!

In Christ you are a Witness bringing the Good News to ALL peoples. (Isaiah 55:4)

In Christ you are Leader, one who serves diligently in justice and righteously, an example of one who carries the kingdom within. (Isaiah 55:5)

In Christ you are a Commander, by the power of Holy Spirit and the Love of God, you have authority to speak a thing and it shall be, according to the will of God. (Isaiah 55:3-4)

‘Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.’ Isaiah 55:2

Take time when reading the word and listen. Allow God to minister to you and you will walk a productive life of no limits.

Prayer focus
Blessed LORD, reveal to me where I am expending my money and time unnecessarily that I may stop toiling. Open my eyes and ears and prepare your way in me that I may live, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
