#LAIsaiah Devotional Day 21 by The LA Family

The Servant Revolution

Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul delights!
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,
Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.
He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;
And the coastlands shall wait for His law.
Isaiah 42:1-4

There are a million plus ways in which the LORD our God helps us daily, yet it is the help that we consciously wait for, and yet to receive that can seem to easily shake our core.

Oppression, we quake. Sickness, we flinch. Obstacles; we despair.

In some ways the human race is fickle and self-centred. Our centre of focus is narrowed to our immediate needs and surroundings. The bible is not a new release of wisdom insights. Even before it was constructed the word of God existed. Before it was written, the word of God was spoken. Before it was heard, the word of God prevailed; the word of God lived and still lives.

Throughout all the ages of dissonance and disobedience, God has never stopped loving us. All God has asked is Love and Obedience and Servitude.

God declares in Isaiah 42:1, ‘Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,’ and Paul wrote, ‘just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,’ (Eph 1:4). You and I existed in God’s mind eye before the foundation of the world therefore your calling was already spoken in Christ (John 1:2), in whom God’s soul delights.

Which generation of believer will you be? Do more than just read, go to church and ask of the LORD but give your life willingly to serve according to the will of God. Lead a revolution in yourself to humbly come into submission and the world will behold the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

‘You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you‘ John 15:16

Receive strength to RISE UP and be all God is in YOU!
