#LACorinthians Devotional Day 24 by Orode Faka

Divine order surrounds us. It is the natural law honoured and known by all things of this planet and beyond. The sun and the moon obey it, the animal and planet kingdoms respect it and humanity fights it.

Divine order is knowing who you are in God and trusting it. In our quiet time, we can align ourselves so effortlessly with this principle. In that moment our heart, mind and body are in complete agreement and we promise, we agree to God’s command of action. We return from this absolute state of grace back into the world and GBAM! The godfather of all distractions surfaces adding to an already overbearing list of priorities and burdens. Up goes the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign to what God laid in our hearts to do because our ‘mountain’ is just too steep.

There exists within us an eternal state of grace and peace, if we choose to trust it. If we cannot master the chaos of our minds, life will always present mountains and those yet to come to Christ are looking to us observing how to find balance in a world so disharmonious.

When we accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour we effectively made a promise of servitude. Whatever it is that God has laid upon you to do, which you accepted in prayer, simply do it. Walk the path of your purpose and ignore what you don’t have but abide in the abundant grace, which you possess. It will not let your words or obedience be in vain.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.’ Psalm 19:14

Prayer Focus
Beloved Lord, work through me the courage and strength to honour every promise of obedience I declare, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
