#LA187 FAMILY

Hello #LA187 Family of Overcomers. It’s Day 186. You better believe it. We give praises who Him alone who does great wonders. Wowwwww!!! We’re so excited! We know you are too!

Quiz time 🙂

What are the four things that never say enough?

Hint: Proverbs 30

Announcement time 🙂

As you are already aware, tomorrow is DAY 187. We will be sharing our highlights from the #LA187 journey via #LA187Story on Twitter and Facebook. We will also be sharing on the WhatsApp group chat.

Today, we read Proverbs 30 and Zechariah 11-14.

Proverbs 30:24-25

There are four things which are little on the earth,
But they are exceedingly wise:
The ants are a people not strong,
Yet they prepare their food in the summer;

Hopilina, our family encourager, shared on four major characteristics of the Ant. She also asked some questions we all need to answer.

  1. The Ant is always prepared. It prepares for harder seasons!
  2. They work with all they have been given. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says that whatever our hands find to do, we must do with all our might!
  3. They don’t wear out easily. Galatians 6:9 tells us not to grow weary while doing good for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint.
  4. They do not waste time complaining. When their ant hill happens to be knocked down, they are not seen sitting around and crying about it – they just start all over again.

Are we like Ants who are always prepared? Do we wear out easily? Do we complain?

Tessa Fresh shared on Zechariah 11:

Keywords here: Shepherds, God’s heart and desire for good shepherds. Where do we as new creation come in? God has called us to follow Him, to be in relationship with Him and to model His heart for shepherding. We are the Jesus to our world. In spite of our issues and inadequacies, we are to see ourselves as shepherds. Everyone who isn’t born again today is a lost sheep and as much as we are sheep who follow God, we are shepherds who can lead others to Christ. Be conscious daily that as much as you are called to live a victorious Christian life, the major part of living that life is to draw attention to Jesus. To show Jesus Christ as Savior so much that the lost would crave the Jesus we serve.”

Wow. Thanks Tessa Fresh!

Fresh promises from Zechariah 12:

The Lord will make #LA187FAMILY an immovable rock for all nations. Whoever stands against her will injure themselves!

The people of #LA187FAMILY are strong because the Lord Almighty is our God! We stand firm, we stand immovable!

Dr. Ola AKA DJ TMT pointed out that Zechariah made lots of prophecies concerning Jesus Christ:

  1. The triumphant entry (Zechariah 9:9).
  2. The betrayal of Jesus Christ, whom Judas sold for 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:10-14). The staff ‘Beauty’ was broken just as Jesus’ beauty was marred on the cross. He is the END of the law (Old Covenant) Romans 10:4 – For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes.
  3. The scattering of the disciples in the garden of Gethsemane, and in Jerusalem, when persecution arose. (Zechariah 13:7).
  4. The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ (Zechariah 12:10)… They shall look upon Me, whom they have pierced.

Our memory verse for today was from Proverbs 30:5

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.

#LA187Family trusts in the Lord and He is our shield!

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
