#LA187: DAY 164 – Know God! Know Wisdom! Know Life!

#LA187 FAMILY

Hello Wonderful #LA187 Family of God! It’s Day 164! Glory be to God in the highest.

Quiz time 🙂

Complete the following: Receive my instruction, and not ___, And knowledge rather than ____;

Hint: Proverbs 8

Today, we read Proverbs 8 and Ezekiel 32-35.

Eloxie Fresh, our cook for the day, shared extensively on Proverbs 8, we’ll give you the semi condensed version 😀

Proverbs 8 speaks about choice. 1 Corinthians 1:30 refers to Jesus as the wisdom of God so when we see wisdom stand and call, it is God calling and reaching out to us. He is always speaking, are we listening?

Listen he says, for I will speak of excellent things, right things, and truth. God’s word is always right for us, it is always truth. But it also challenges us. If as He was so are we in this world, our lips must also speak only excellent things, only right things and wickedness should not be named about us. We must be straightforward men and women of integrity.

Now see the rewards for paying attention to Christ’s wisdom, if we choose to take instruction and be wise, we are blessed. When we choose to listen to wisdom, and wait at the post of the gates, paying close attention to everything God has to say. We are assured of life, for whoever finds Christ finds life and obtains favor of the Lord.

Yummy! We want more! God Bless our Eloxie.

Our dear @Ogetours summarized Proverbs 8 so freshly: No God, No Wisdom, No Life!!! But Know God, Know Wisdom, Know Life!!

On Ezekiel 32, our breakfast Chef, Freshest Kay, shared that God is the Almighty who deals with those who think they are mighty. It is evident in the way He prophesied against the Egyptians, as he predicted their destruction in the hands of the Babylonians.

Ezekiel 33 talks about us being watchmen called to sound the alarm and point people to the Savior. Watchmen could also represent people God sends to warn us for various reasons like when there is danger ahead or when we are going astray, the responsibility to heed this call lies in our hands.

From Ezekiel 34:4, we understand that some of the duties associated with the office of the Shepherd (Pastor, Spiritual Leader) are to strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the broken, bring back those that were driven away and seek the lost.

On Ezekiel 35, @Ogetours gives some fresh advice: Take a cue from Edom, don’t rejoice over the seeming misfortune of the righteous, our God must still prevail over all!

Our memory verse for today was from Proverbs 8:6

Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, And from the opening of my lips will come right things.

#LA187 will speak of excellent, right and fresh things only.

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
