#LA187: DAY 150 – Call Unto Him And He Will Answer

#LA187 FAMILY

Hello Evergreen #LA187 Family of God! It’s Day 150. We receive Grace to keep going for the Word. The more of the Word we have in us, the more His light will shine through us.

Quiz time 🙂

What lesson are we meant to learn from the Rechabites?

Hint: Jeremiah 35.

Today, we read Psalms 144 and Jeremiah 33-36.

Psalms 144 is filled with promises. We’ll list a few as pointed out by Blessing Chi!

  1. #LA187 sons will be as plants grown up in their youth.
  2. #LA187 daughters will be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace.

Go and find the rest 😀

Ibukun is back to serving breakfast, thanks be to God who made a way where there seemed to be none! – That’s a testimony! Praise God.

Based on Jeremiah 33:14, she declared over the family: The days have come when God will fulfill His promises to the #LA187 family! Amen!

On Jeremiah 34, she urged us not to be afraid to make a covenant with God because He will give us strength and grace to uphold. Dr. Ola added on that God never breaks His covenant so it grieves Him when we break ours.

Dr. Ola was cooking in the kitchen today. Yummy food on Jeremiah 33:3 which assures us that when we call on God, He will answer us and reveal deep and hidden things we had no clue about. We are very much privileged to have a God Who promises to answer us when we call Him, unlike the hand-crafted gods, who have eyes, but cannot see, have ears but cannot hear and have mouths but are dumb. They cannot answer when their worshipers call upon them, as on Mount Carmel, where Elijah had to kill the worshipers because of the offense of their gods – these gods did not answer when they were sought!

What’s Jeremiah 35 all about? @Signetseal tells us – A great lesson in obedience and a great reward too.

In Jeremiah 36, King Zedekiah despised God’s Word by destroying Jeremiah’s scroll without remorse. #LA187 will not despise God’s Word in Jesus name. Also, no matter how much one tries to destroy a physical representation of the Word, it is life and its words will be fulfilled regardless.

Our memory verse for today was from Psalms 144:9

I will sing a new song to You, O God; On a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You.

Sing a new song today!

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
