#LA187: DAY 138 – No Weapon Formed Against Us Shall Prosper

FRESHNESS

Hello #LA187 family of God! It’s Day 138! Amazing!

Quiz time 🙂

Please quote Isaiah 54:17.

Hint: N-O-N-E.

Testimony time 🙂

Our God is working wonders in our midst:

There was a time in my life that I could not eat solid food. I drank milk and took Custard and Golden Morn and Nutrend, etc. I couldn’t chew meat, nor eat rice, nor swallow Garri. I couldn’t even brush my mouth. I drank bottled water only! ‘Cos my gums were inflamed and bleeding. My throat was also inflamed. But today, I can chew anything my heart desireth – and without pains!

I thank God for making me whole, because ‘The dead don’t thank you, and choirs don’t sing praises from the morgue. Those buried six feet under don’t witness to your faithful ways. It’s the living-live men, live women-who thank you, just as I’m doing right now. Parents give their children full reports on your faithful ways.’ – Isaiah 38:18-19

Halleluyah!!! This God we serve is SO AWESOME, So LOVING, So MIGHTY. We declare that someone else is healed as a result of reading this testimony.

Announcement time 🙂

In case you’re not aware, we’re going to finish reading the book of Isaiah on Sunday, Day 141. #LA187 presents #LA187GOD. All day this Sunday and we will be describing God according to Isaiah. E.G. The one who laid the foundations of the earth – Isaiah 54. Don’t miss it. We will be live on Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp!

Today, we read Psalms 132 and Isaiah 51-54.

Breakfast was served by darling Ibukun as usual while Omotola took over as the cook for today:

Isaiah 51 – We see the power of mentor-ship at work here. Those who want to be righteous and seek God should look up to Abraham and Sarah. This shows that who we look up to goes a long way in determining our spiritual growth. Our mentors should be people who will help us advance spiritually.

Isaiah 52 – Be a bearer of good news – the Gospel. How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. When we follow God’s instructions, we invoke His presence as seen in verse 12.

Isaiah 53 – Christ suffered for us all. He exhibited great humility. It means we have access to the benefits of His suffering. It’s up to us to use the keys He has given us. Christ bore our transgressions. We are therefore free from the power of sin. There is no need to carry the weight of sin when Christ already did that…. HALLELUYAH!

We are encouraged to proclaim the blessings of Isaiah 54 for ourselves. We will all experience enlargements on every side. God will forever put songs of praise in our mouths. The rest of this year speaks enlargement for us in Jesus name.

In the words of our moderator, Ike Amadi, “Today’s reading ended freshly. Chei. #LA187 Isaiah 54:17: No weapon formed against you shall prosper!”

Our memory verse for today was from Psalm 132:3

His enemies I will clothe with shame, But upon Himself His crown shall flourish.

O #LA187, Rejoice for God will clothe your enemies with shame! No weapon formed against any member of this family shall prosper!

Stay FRESH and ALIVE!
