#LA187: DAY 112 – O For A Heart Like Job’s!

FRESHNESS

Hello #FRESH and #ALIVE Family! Welcome to day 112 of the #LA187 program.

Our readings were taken from Psalms 112 and Job 9 – 12.

Today’s reading brought about multiple prophetic declarations from the #LA187 family. Amennnnnn all the way!

Using Job 9:10, where it says, “He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles,” We declare marvelous things and countless miracles as the portion of #LA187 Family.

From Job 10:12, #LA187, He has granted us life and favor, His care has preserved our spirits! #GLORYTOGOD

Of course, we have Psalms 112 which we had to call the Blessings Galore.

112 Praise the Lord!

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who delights greatly in His commandments.

His descendants will be mighty on earth;
The generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches will be in his house,
And his righteousness endures forever.
Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness;
He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion.
Surely he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.
He will not be afraid of evil tidings;
His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is established;
He will not be afraid,
Until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever;
His horn will be exalted with honor.
10 The wicked will see it and be grieved;
He will gnash his teeth and melt away;
The desire of the wicked shall perish.

Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen! One for each verse! Whooop!.

From Job 9: 27-28, we observed that being cheerful in the midst of affliction is easier said than done. It is important to remember that as Christians, we can draw strength from the Holy Spirit. #LA187 family, please always remember that no matter what you go through, you are not in it alone. The Holy Spirit, your comforter, is there with you.

@Eloxie commented that Job’s attitude in the face of his sudden upheaval was rooted in His understanding of God. See His description of God in Job 9. “O for a heart like Job’s to draw out of deep pain & bring forth original praise in awe of God even when I have no clue what He’s up to.” #LA187.

#FRESH

As @Eloxie rightly said/tweeted 🙂 “What we store up in the word, in prayer & in fellowship with God reflects in our attitude when trouble strikes. #LA187 family, what are you storing up?”

Another Selah moment…

Our daily memory verse was taken from Psalms 112:3

“Wealth and riches are in his house; and his righteousness endures forever.”

Wealth and riches will remain in the #LA187 family in Jesus name.
