#LA130Prayer from John 13 and 14:
1) I live a life that is worthy of emulation, the world sees Jesus in me IJN John 13:17.
2) I am filled with divine ability to differentiate good from bad in the name of Jesus John 13:18.
3) I receive grace to trust God in the mist of trials; I believe him to perfect all that concerns me IJN John 13:21-30.
4) The love of God is shed abroad my heart by the Holy Spirit, I live a life of Love IJN John 13:34.
5) I bless you Jesus for you are the way the truth and the life IJN John 14:6.
6) In the name of Jesus I declare that I am strong and I do exploits John 14:12.
7) Oh Lord grant all my desires that are in line with your will for my life IJN John 14:13-14.
8) Thank you Father for your steadfast love that never cease and for the gift of the Holy Spirit IJN John 14:15-18.
9) As I yield myself to God I receive grace to walk in total obedience IJN John 14:23-24.
10) I adore you precious Holy Spirit for you are my peace and ever present helper and the power at work in me IJN John 14:26-27.
There are so many lessons learnt from today’s reading about Jesus, here’s a few:
After comforting his disciples in John 14:1-4, the then began to tell them about the way to where he was going.
- John 14:5-6, Thomas asked him what he was talking about in John 14:2-4, and Jesus told responded.When Philip still asked of Him to show them the Father, He said He is in the Father and the Father is in him, that if they don’t believe that they should believe on the evidence of the miracles. John 14:8-11. Many times people will want evidence(Miracles) of the truth
- He was going to meet the Father (God) in heaven to prepare a place for us (disciples) John 14:2,6.
- He is the only way to have access to the Father is through Him. John 14:6.
- He is the truth. As opposed to false doctrine and error, when we are in search of the truth, guide, direction, we’ll find all of that in Jesus (the Word).
- He is ‘the life’-unlike the physical life that dies, the life he gives is eternal.
