  4. Lord! Purify my heart of every impurity. Mark 7:20-22
  5. Lord. Let my heart be a spring of living water, well pleasing to you in Jesus name. Mark 7:21-22
  6. Father, remove every unclean spirit that is in my life or in any member of my family, Lord. Break the yoke of sin! Mark 7:24-29
  7. Father, open my eyes Lord to receive insight into my life and destiny in Jesus name. Mark 7:36
  8. I receive my full sight in Jesus name. Mark 8:23
  9. Dear Lord, help me not to gain the whole world and lose my only soul. Mark 8:36
  10. Father, Let me not be ashamed of you and your words in Jesus name. Mark 8:37

What makes a man unclean? The Pharisees and the teachers of the law say “That which goes into a man. Example: Food”. Jesus – the way, truth and light says “It is what comes out of a man that makes him unclean”.

Mark 7:20 – 23 – And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”

It is a matter of the heart. Family, God looks at our hearts. How do we avoid this uncleanliness that comes from within? By guarding our hearts!

You may say: “#LA Family, thanks. I now have a better understanding that it’s what comes out of my heart that matters. I don’t want vile things to come from within, how do I go about it? How do I guard my heart?”

Well, we guard our hearts with the Word of God – It is living and active, it will replace every vile thing that has occupied our hearts till this point. Learn and Apply the Word of God. Join #LA130 and you’re good to go. You’re guaranteed a family that will embark on this life changing journey with you and support you all the way! For more information, please see here.

Also, we should be particular about what feeds our thoughts. What we watch, read and listen to.

You have Learned! Go forth and Apply!

Food For Thought: What are we feeding our hearts?

Please deposit Mark 8:35 into the memory bank:

If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.

Stay #FRESH, #CHAP and #ALIVE!
