#LA130: DAY 015 – RESPONDING TO THE CALL!

LAFAMLOGO

Hello Faithful #LA Family! The Diligent Family that enjoys doing His will.

It’s Day 15 of our #LA130 program. For more information, please see here.

Today’s Reading: Mark 1 – 2.

Hello MARK 🙂 – Somebody shout MARK!!!

#LA130Prayer from Mark 1 and 2:

  1. I will fulfill my ministry In Jesus Name. Mark 1:1-9
  2. Thank you Jesus for the baptism of the Holy Ghost In Jesus Name. Mark 1:8
  3. I have a testimony with God that I am His beloved and He is well pleased with me In Jesus Name. Mark 1:11
  4. Father, make me a fisher of men In Jesus Name. Mark 1:17
  5. I receive grace to always seek God in the place of prayers. I refuse to be distracted by over activity and the pressures of life In Jesus Name. Mark 1:35
  6. I refuse to exist in obscurity, I am the light of the world, I make a difference wherever I go. Mark 2:1-2

We see the calling of the first disciples in Mark 1:17-18: Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him.

Wow! That singular act of obedience on the part of the disciples is worthy of note. We’ll share Five Fresh Lessons from the calling of the disciples and their response. As shared by family of course!

  1. By human standards, you may be unqualified but when He calls you, He will qualify you.
  2. Be diligent! The Lord found the disciples at their place of work.
  3. We are not to be mere readers of the Word; we are to be “fishers” of souls.
  4. Be willing to let go of the ordinary to pursue the extraordinary.
  5. Follow God wholeheartedly.

You have Learned! Go forth and Apply!

Food For Thought: If Jesus called you as a disciple today, would you abandon everything to follow Him?

Please deposit Mark 1:15 into the memory bank:

“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”

Stay #FRESH, #CHAP and #ALIVE!
