  3. Lord, I ask for the gift of discernment of spirit and the gift of faith. Matthew 21:21
  4. Dear Lord, empower me to love you with all my heart, soul, and mind. Matthew 22:37
  5. I receive wisdom to handle every situation in life, wisdom that is beyond human comprehension. Matthew 22:23-32

Matthew 21:12-13

Jesus entered the Temple and began to drive out all the people buying and selling animals for sacrifice. He knocked over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves. He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves!”

#LA Family members shared and we won’t keep it from you!

“He came into the temple and observed the tables of the money changers. If your heart is opened, would only thoughts of how to make money be found? Would the master find thoughts of prayer, of becoming more spiritual? Of evangelism?” – Ike Amadi

“Our body, Gods temple. What do we trade in it? “13-My house shall be for prayers”. We mustn’t anger God” – @ManuelAdesola

“How do I react when things are done wrongly? That wasn’t the first time things were done badly at the temple. But this time Jesus showed up and He spoke against them publicly. He spoke against sin which had become accepted. The priests permitted it but it was wrong anyway. Jesus’ opinion was in the minority. Like Him vs the world. Like going to a church and rebuking the pastor for doing wrong. It’s different when he taught in the mountains, but to come to the temple? What manner of boldness Jesus had! What manner of untamed zeal! Would I have just kept quiet against sin? Or taken the path of least resistance if it was me and God required me to speak. Oh for boldness to speak God’s mind when it’s not popular. The very purpose of the temple had been defeated by man. Chei! Is that the case today?” – Eloho

“My temple shall be called, ‘A house of prayer.’ Are our bodies nt temples of God? Can it b called a house of prayer?” – @IkeAmadi

Food For Thought: If Jesus visited your body, His temple like He did in Jerusalem, would He be pleased with the things He finds there?

Please deposit Matthew 21:22 into the memory bank:

You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”
