Matthew 18:3 – “Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.”

There must be a lot to learn from little children. What are they? Let’s find out.

CHILDREN ARE TEACHABLE: Be willing to learn the Word and eagerly Apply that which has been learned. – #LA130

CHILDREN ARE HUMBLE: The greatest in the Kingdom of heaven is the one who humbles himself and becomes like a child.

CHILDREN ARE DEPENDENT ON THEIR PARENTS: We should depend on our heavenly father.

CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS JOYFUL: Joy is a fruit of the Spirit.

CHILDREN ARE NOT ANXIOUS: The Bible tells us to be anxious for NOTHING.

CHILDREN ASK WITHOUT DOUBT: “But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.”– James 1:6

CHILDREN TRUST FULLY AND WHOLLY: We must trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding.

CHILDREN GROW: Like Jesus as a child grew in ‘wisdom and stature’, so must we.

CHILDREN FORGIVE EASILY: We must forgive others constantly, just like our heavenly Father has forgiven us.

CHILDREN HANG ON TO PROMISES: “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.” – Hebrews 10:23. He has promised, HE WILL NEVER FAIL.

Food For Thought: When it comes to God, Innocence is the way to go. Drink up WHATEVER the BIBLE says. Just like a little child.

Please deposit Matthew 17:20 into the memory bank:

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
